Financial Literacy is a seven week personal finance course that meets on Mondays from 6 to 9 p.m.

July 19 to August 30, 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The course is designed to help individuals become economically stronger through learning and understanding how to better manage, budget, save, and invest money. It provides participants with opportunities to understand, discuss, and react to the events that shape their economic environment.

This interactive class is taught by professionals in the community who share their expertise and assist participants in learning. Topics include:

- basic financial information

- spending plans

- credit repair

- banking

- communication

- economics

- investing

- and more

This class is required for IDA participants and is also highly recommended for anyone looking to start a business, but on the right financial footing.

Pre-requisite: Intro to GROW

Cost: $50 total for all 7 sessions

Registration is non-refundable. A credit will be issued in the case of participant cancellation. Credit will expire 6 months from the date of the cancellation. In the case that GROW must cancel or postpone a class, a credit or refund will be issued.
